Quatman Cafe: The Best Burgers and Beer in Mason, OH

During Lent I have been going to Quatmans for their fish sandwich. I have been told that their fish is really good, so I had to try it out for myself. When I received my sandwich I got 2 giant sized pieces of fish on a bun with lettuce and cheese. The whole sandwich was amazing. I have been going back every Friday since lent has started to get my fish sandwich for lunch. Definitely worth the trip.

Quantum's seems to be a fixture of the area. I've been here twice and service is top notch, quick and friendly. There is a nostalgic feel to the restaurant, especially with the old menu board sitting above the cashier. Beers were served in frosty mugs and range from the usual to local craft beers. The price is unbeatable for a restaurant. Sides were nice, my friends enjoyed the fries. Although people rave about the burgers in the reviews I find them unseasoned and unremarkable. I'm not sure if that's to appeal to a very broad public but the lack of seasoning and the meat itself reminded me of cafeteria burgers. I want to try their other offerings though. I got a side salad and it was ok. Food is served on paper plates and sodas are served in cans with cups to pour. I like the simplicity of it and the prices go along with it, cheaper than most places. Family friendly, I noticed multiple multi generation groups.

Really good burgers with reasonable prices and friendly service. Only minor issue is the iced tea, which I would not recommend ordering. It was nasty.

Comfy neighborhood Burger joint. Great food quick, friendly service all nicely priced. Burger lovers will love these burgers. Don't forget to say " cheese".

11.00 for a burger, fries and a canned drink or beer. That is unheard of nowadays! They don’t skimp on quality which makes it even better. Quatman’s has been labeled a Top 5 burger place in Cincinnati and give them a try to see why. The Paper plates reminds you of being at home enjoying your food. Service is always top notch and they have a bar if you need a little stiffer drink than a coke. The biggest plus for me personally is THEY HAVE VANILLA COKE. Stop at either location and enjoy the food.

Came here with friends after going to kings island. It was a cozy café. Decent prices, straight to the point and great food. My whole table got the saturday cheeseburger special and it was great! Would totally stop here again when I come back down to go to king's island again! Oh. Also, you like my pretty art I made on my burger? Haha!

My group had such a great experience with the server Caroline. We loved every chance we had to chat with her for a bit. The food was average. The side salad was the best part but it's just iceberg lettuce. The ranch dressing they use made it. The fish sandwich I received was overcooked. I didn't eat it. I'm sure I could have gotten a replacement if I asked but I suspected it wouldn't be all that great anyway so I just had the fries and salad. My son liked the chicken tenders.

Fantastic food and service. They were so accommodating and food came out quick and hot for our large party. Always our favorite and go-to for a great burger.
